Hey guys its the 1st December 2018 and its 24 sleeps till Christmas, one of my favourite times of the year as it includes my Granddad’s birthday which is Christmas Eve and I think the season is pretty magical.
I am hoping to be at home for Christmas as my mum and Granddad are doing something during New Year and I’d rather work New Year as to me its just another day.
One of my favourite things about this time of the year is being with family and friends. I have lived away from home for 10 years which has been very rewarding, I believe it makes you appreciate your loved ones even more.
Spoiler for those who haven’t seen Jack Frost, I will be a brief as possible
For instance, I was watching Jack Frost on Netflix a few days ago; a beautiful film about a dad that dies tragically but comes back a year later as a snowman. This allows the dad a chance to spend more time with his son who then tries to keep his dad alive as a snowman when the weather starts getting warmer. It was the end of this film that made me think about the loss of my own dad and how much I miss him.
Although sad, the film is heart warming and a good one to watch.
Tonight I have watched Star Wars Revenge of the Sith; another fave film of mine and it helps me to relax at the end of a working day as I know the story well and seen the film so many times.
I just want to round up this post by saying that Christmas is the season for family and that spending time with them is important. Feel free to message me and share what you enjoy about Christmas.
