I have actually done it. I’ve handed in my notice so now I’m definitely on my path and I’m so excited. Over the past few days I’ve had a mixture of emotions coursing through me and now I feel relieved and lighter.
My time at Lakefield Equestrian Centre has been a good one with highs and some lows, however I don’t know where I would be if I hadn’t come down here 6 years ago. I can now say I am an level 2 riding instructor with some experience in teach RDA (Riding for the Disabled) and my confidence in myself as a person is stronger.
I am leaving Lakefield in order to grow more as a person, see another part of the word and as its been one of my ambitions in life.
I would like to thank Mark and Becky for all they have done for me as I will always be grateful for their help and support. I would also like to thanks the staff and all the horses and ponies who I will miss deeply and will love to keep in contact with. Finally I would like to say thank you to Pammy Hutton who has given me loads of advice and has helped with improve my riding and coaching.
Now, I’m getting things ready for departure which means getting stuff packed, getting my full driving lessons (fingers crossed), arranging my finances before leaving and sorting out my room.
I’m so happy I wish every success to Lakefield Equestrian Centre.
